Program Information

Accelerated Dental Assisting Program of Tennessee (ADAPT) offers an accelerated and affordable program where students learn and train every Saturday for 10 weeks. Students learn from experienced instructors who are practicing RDAs and rock stars in their respective dental offices. Students also benefit from learning in an actual dental office with the latest technology and many hands-on training opportunities. Small class size allows for individual attention that each student deserves. Training in all aspects of dentistry, including endodontics, crown & bridge, fillings, impressions, oral surgery, radiology, periodontics as well as 4 handed dentistry will be done with dental professionals in an actual practicing dental office, not a classroom.

During the 10 weeks, your training will include lectures, hands-on practice, lab work, and dental assistant internship with a practicing dentist. You will gain the skills necessary to get a job immediately after graduation. Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive a RDA number for the State of Tennessee. All graduates will receive a Registered Dental Assistant Certificate and Radiology and Safety Certificate, both approved by the Tennessee Board of Dentistry.
